Driving Test Changes

From today driving test candidates will be expected to drive “independently” for a 10 minute period without step-by-step directions from their examiner. Set routes will no longer be published online; instead candidates will be expected to follow a route shown in advance. However, the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has made it clear that candidates can ask for reminders of their route as they drive and will not be failed for going off route.
