If the vehicle was repaired privately without reporting to police or insurance company, chances are the repair bill shouldn’t be that high. And with a pair of trained eye, you can easily tell which section of the vehicle was repaired from the accident. Please keep in mind any accident repair or estimate amount usually are higher than what consumer expects. For example if you drive a Honda Civic and your front bumper was in a minor collision and require replacement. This can easily cost you up to $1500 in repair bills include parts, labor, body shop, clean up, rental car fee. So don’t be alarmed if you see an amount of $1500, it is most likely a minor bumper change. One should be concerned if a vehicle’s repair cost is close to $10,000.
